Most people come to me with one document and a deadline. Some leave with three things done: a power of attorney notarized, then apostilled, then sent overseas. Life paperwork rarely comes one piece at a time, so these are the combinations I see most. A diploma, affidavit or power of attorney for use abroad is notarized first, then sent for an apostille. The order matters, and getting it backwards means paying twice. After a wedding, couples often need a name-change affidavit, or a marriage certificate apostilled for a spouse's home country. A loan signing can come with an occupancy affidavit, a corrected deed, or a POA for a spouse who's traveling, and I handle the whole set.

I work with businesses as well as individuals. Title and escrow offices get remote and in-person signings with package review before the appointment, and returns that follow their instructions to the letter. Law firms use me for out-of-state clients who need a Florida acknowledgment or jurat, and for estate documents with witnesses. Real estate agents bring seller packages when a client has already moved, and I'm a licensed Real Estate Broker myself, so I know the timeline. Employers use me for I-9 verification as their authorized representative, done in person.

Florida has strict rules for witnesses on a Notarizing a Power of Attorney in Florida, so ask before you assume. Now the part everyone asks about: cost. Florida law caps what a notary can charge for the notarial act itself, at up to $10 per act in person and up to $25 per act online. For a marriage, I can charge no more than the county clerk charges. Everything around the act is separate, and I quote it before we book: the video platform and identity check are billed separately, travel, after-hours and package review are quoted up front, and an apostille is the state's fee plus handling, per document.

I don't publish a flat rate card, because a one-page affidavit and a sixty-page refinance aren't the same job.
